Description
The history of Argan oil in a nutshell.
The Argan tree can only be found in southwest Morocco. Which makes Argan oil an extremely rare commodity. No wonder it’s sometimes called Liquid Gold.
Traditionally the seeds of the Argan tree are collected by local Berber women, who then press them by hand to extract the precious oil. It can sometimes take up to 20 hours to produce just one litre of the oil.
Nowadays making Argan oil is much easier. The kernels are picked straight from the tree and go through a cold press. This ensures none of the goodness of the oil is lost during the manufacturing process. The oil we use is 100% pure, organic and deodorised. This means that it doesn’t have the distinctive, nutty smell of culinary Argan oil. And you can apply it all over, odour-free
