Description

Arnica oil is made from the arnica plant found in the central and northern regions of the Northern Hemisphere.

It is an herb with a rich history of use in Russian and Swiss Alps natural medicine.

The arnica plant often grows 1-2 feet, and looks like a daisy with it’s yellow/orange color and round green leaves. It’s fresh or dried flower heads are used to make an infused oil that can be used as a carrier oil in massage therapy.

Today, many plastic surgeons recommend that their patients use arnica creams to reduce post-surgical bruising.

Arnica oils and creams are known to be herbal medicines, with dramatic results if used immediately after an injury, as this oil helps to speed the healing process by moving waste-filled fluids out of the body, and moving cleansing fluids into the affected area.

Benefits

Arnica oil is anti-inflammatory and healing. In the image of homeopathy granules and creams, it effectively calms various pains (back, sprains …) and prevents the appearance of bruises. It is also a massage oil relaxation very popular after a workout, although a little fat anyway.

Arnica oil contains linoleic acid (an omega 6), oleic acid (an omega 9) and traces of essential oil, which give it antiseptic and antioxidant properties. Its carotenoid content also makes it a photoprotective oil. In addition, arnica oil is also used in cosmetics to fight against redness or irritation, just as it protects the skin from aging.

Contraindication

In external use only, for which there is no contraindication. Only problem, it can stain clothes if it has not penetrated the epidermis sufficiently.

MODE OF CONSERVATION
Oxidically sensitive, arnica oil must be kept cool and in its original bottle.
